Reservation Conditions

Reservations are subject to availability and payment confirmation. To confirm the reservation, the guest must make the payment according to the terms specified for each accommodation. The amounts for reservation fees, deposits, cleaning fees, or others are those advertised at the time of booking on the accommodation's page. All prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.

Payment Options

Payments can be made using Bank transfer, American Express, Visa, or MasterCard credit cards. Guests are also subject to the special rules applicable to each accommodation.

Pre-Check-In

After the reservation is completed, the reservation holder will receive an email and/or SMS from You Deserve It with the reservation confirmation and important information about the accommodation, including additional service information (if available at the Accommodation). Guests will be asked to complete a Lodging Form, which is crucial for preparing the stay. The Lodging Form will request, in particular, the arrival time, the total number of people staying – so we can provide the right amount of bed linen and bath towels – as well as mandatory information related to foreign and border services. Guests must indicate the exact number of people on the Lodging Form. The number of guests specified in the reservation cannot exceed the number of people present in the accommodation. If the number of guests exceeds the limit, You Deserve It reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of paid fees. You Deserve It assumes no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete completion of the Lodging Form. Any attempt to alter and/or falsify the original information will invalidate the Lodging Form and may result in the reservation being canceled.

Cancellation Policy

After the reservation is confirmed, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • The guest can cancel free of charge until 20 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 20 days before arrival.
  • If the guest doesn’t show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.
  • Prepayment: The guest will pay in advance.

Stay Conditions

The reservation holder must be at least 18 years old and must stay at the reserved accommodation throughout the stay. Guests under 18 can only be accommodated if accompanied by an adult who is the reservation holder. The reservation holder must provide a valid address, phone number, and email address. Pets of any kind are not allowed in You Deserve It accommodations. If a pet is found inside the accommodation, You Deserve It reserves the right to require guests to leave the premises without any compensation or refund of paid fees. Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation. Under Article 45(1)(a) of the Schengen Agreement Implementation Convention, the accommodation of foreign citizens must be reported to foreign and border services, meaning all those who are not of Portuguese nationality. For the purposes of the previous paragraph, all foreign guests must provide all identification information by the check-in date at the latest, through the Lodging Form. Guests must notify You Deserve It of any damage to the accommodation, contents, equipment, or accessories that occur during the stay, even if the guest believes the damage is due to regular wear and tear and not their fault. If the guest does not notify You Deserve It of such damages, they may be held responsible.

Check-In and Check-Out

During personal check-in, identification documents for the reservation holder and all foreign guests may be requested to confirm the provided information. Except for accommodations with automatic check-in, the accommodation will be occupied on the check-in date between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. In the case of late check-ins (after 8:00 PM), an express check-in service may be provided, subject to the prior completion of the Lodging Form by the guests. If express check-in is not possible, a fixed fee of €30 will be charged, payable at check-in. Check-out is until 11:00 AM, and all guests must leave the accommodation at the scheduled time. Guests must inform the desired check-out time so that a member of the You Deserve It team can be present. If a team member cannot attend the check-out, guests may leave the keys on the main table inside the accommodation and close the door. The keys should not be left in the door lock. If the guest refuses to leave the accommodation, You Deserve It reserves the right to enter, remove belongings, change the locks, and take the necessary measures. The guest will be responsible for the costs of any action. Any changes to check-in and check-out dates and times must be confirmed by You Deserve It. In the case of delays without prior notice and without confirmation from You Deserve It, an additional fee may be charged. You Deserve It provides only one set of keys at check-in. Guests must be careful not to lose or leave the keys inside the apartment. All keys must be returned at check-out. Additional fees that vary depending on each accommodation apply to lost keys or lockouts. If a locksmith service is required, the guest will be responsible for the total amount charged by the provider, which may vary depending on complexity, materials, time, and other factors. You Deserve It is not responsible for any items left in the apartment after departure. Found belongings can be returned upon request, with the guest responsible for all expenses related to the return process.

Cleaning, Linen, and Towels

The accommodation will be cleaned before the guests arrive. The basic service from You Deserve It includes a set of towels, bed linen, and toiletries for each reservation. Additional cleaning services, including linen and towel changes, are available for an additional fee and must be confirmed by You Deserve It. Guests must keep the accommodation as organized and clean as possible and leave it in good condition at check-out for the next guest. Trash should not be left inside the accommodation, by the door, or outside the building (where applicable). Guests must use the street bins designated for this purpose.

Equipment, Furniture, and Items in the Accommodation

If an appliance is not working or if guests do not know how to use some equipment, they should contact You Deserve It. No changes to the accommodation or its contents are allowed. All items found in the accommodation belong to the owner and must not be moved or removed from the property during the stay.

Maintenance and Special Requests

Any problems in the accommodation (e.g., electrical issues, equipment malfunctions, water leaks) should be immediately reported to You Deserve It by email or phone. Depending on the problem, the resolution may take up to 72 hours.
